Job Overview: Growth Account Manager, Partner Content
The Growth Account Manager, Partner Content plays a crucial role in ensuring Coursera’s educational institutions and industry partners thrive on the platform. This position focuses on a large portfolio of 40+ Tier 2 and 3 partners, with the primary objective of advancing them to Strategic Accounts through consistent year-on-year growth, high partner satisfaction, and strong engagement. You will build robust relationships, guide partners from initial setup to content launch, and continuously support their content portfolio management. This role involves proactively identifying growth opportunities for partners to reach wider audiences and coordinating with internal teams like marketing, operations, and product to ensure smooth content launches. As the primary point of contact, you will provide essential information, training, troubleshoot issues, and innovate ways to enhance partner satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in account management, content creation/management, or a similar field, possessing excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills. We seek a proven leader with strong interpersonal and creative instincts, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous scale-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Revenue and Performance Growth: Drive revenue and improve key metrics through trusted relationships and content optimization. Regularly review partner performance, identify growth opportunities, and conduct annual business reviews for retention and expansion.
- Insights and Advisory: Provide partners with scaled data insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Offer actionable recommendations to boost learner engagement and guide platform feature adoption, while facilitating product feedback.
- Strategy Development through Data Analysis: Analyze complex data to identify strategies for content performance enhancement. Develop compelling business cases for internal and external stakeholders.
- Educational Content Oversight: Project manage all content launches within your portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Manage ongoing content oversight to meet quality standards, learner outcomes, Coursera guidelines, and partner expectations.
- Partner Management: Execute crucial partner management duties, including strategic reviews and troubleshooting operational issues with cross-functional teams. Adopt a scalable approach to re-engage partners, ensuring satisfaction and fostering self-sufficiency.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline account management processes for scalability and improved account ratios. Innovate creative methods to delight partners at scale.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in account management, partner success, or a related role, preferably in edtech or B2C.
- Strong project management skills, experienced in managing content launches and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills, focused on partner success.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data management tools for account management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with online education content, platform support, and partner onboarding processes.
- Experience implementing scalable account management processes for growth and efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of using data for strategic recommendations and partner optimization.
