About the Role

Coursemojo, a leading ed-tech company, has developed an AI-powered assistant teacher called Mojo to support teachers and diverse learners. As the founding AI Research Associate, you will run and scale AI prompt experiments, log results, and provide clear findings and next steps. You will also partner with the Content Transformation team to transition successful experiments into durable prompts and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry forward and iterate on active AI prompt experiments.
• Maintain clean documentation of tests run, prompts, and outcomes.
• Ensure feedback loops are tight with rapid result sharing.
• Coordinate handoffs with the Transformation team with clear context.
• Create repeatable processes and checklists.
• Grow into proposing independent experiment approaches over time.

Defining Success

First 90 days: Maintain 2–3 parallel experiments with reproducible results and clear, actionable recommendations.

6-12 Months: Accelerate experiments through repeatable workflows and provide independent guidance on next steps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 1-5 years in an analytical role (research, tech, consulting, etc.).
• Strong collaboration, clear writing, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and iterative processes.
• High-level technical proficiency in Google Suite, spreadsheets, and digital knowledge management.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt iteration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Python/SQL skills.
• Background in education, edtech, or learning sciences.

Position Details

This is a full-time, fully remote position for candidates based in the United States. Occasional national travel may be required. Compensation is competitive based on benchmark data, experience, and geographic location.
