About The Role

CourseCareers is an online education company that provides students with an affordable way to start careers without a traditional degree. They are on a mission to replace the outdated college system and unlock human potential.

This role is for a YouTube Video Editor who will produce high-quality, educational talking-head videos for the YouTube platform. Most videos will be 7-15 minutes long with a single camera angle and scene.

The company aims to consistently post over 400 videos across 40 channels per month. High performance can lead to a fast promotion to an editing team lead role with responsibilities including hiring and managing other editors.

What You'll Need

  • Experience editing talking-head educational videos with 100k+ views
  • High-volume editing experience (5+ videos per week)
  • At least 1+ years of experience editing YouTube content
  • Deep knowledge of retention editing
  • Fluency in English

Compensation

Base salary of $40,000 per year plus a monthly bonus pool based on performance (potential range $0-$5,000+ per month, with a total compensation range of $40K - $80K).

Note: Multiple postings exist; apply to one only. There is also a YouTuber Producer position available.
