Temporary Intern - Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Machine Learning Development: Assist in developing machine learning models for natural language processing, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
• Data Preprocessing and Analysis: Execute data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Model Training and Evaluation: Participate in training, hyperparameter tuning, and evaluation using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Integration with Applications: Collaborate with developers to integrate machine learning into software platforms.
• Testing and Validation: Assist in model testing through cross-validation and holdout techniques.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document process details and prepare clear technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. Solid understanding of machine learning concepts including supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, regression, and clustering. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn or Keras. Experience with data manipulation using pandas, NumPy, or MATLAB, along with solid software development principles.

Critical thinking, attention to detail, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, effective communication, curiosity and learning agility, resilience, and integrity are essential.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

Ability to remain stationary for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and maintain a dedicated, secure work area with high-speed internet connectivity. No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

Base compensation ranges from $20-25 per hour with eligibility for overtime pay. This role is based remotely with all interviews conducted virtually.
