Overview
The Recovery Resolution Specialist Collections at Cotiviti is responsible for facilitating fund recovery and maintaining provider relations within the Yield Management team. The role involves close collaboration with audit teams, payers, and providers to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims issues.
Responsibilities
- Prepare collections letters in line with policy guidelines.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and contact providers.
- Investigate claim disputes and escalate issues when necessary.
- Document activities using established tools and systems.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards as required.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of collections or customer service experience.
- Billing or coding experience is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Mental and Physical Requirements
The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, prolonged stationary work, and the ability to maintain a secure work area with high-speed internet access.
Compensation and Benefits
Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with potential discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) savings plan, paid family leave, 9 paid holidays, and 17-27 days of PTO per year based on tenure.
