Role Overview

As a Remote Tutor, you will conduct 1:1 lessons in math, ELA, and SAT prep. You set your own flexible and consistent schedule, providing a welcoming, fun, and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1:1 instruction for each student.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare and deliver appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Attend all scheduled classes on time in a professional setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3 years of teaching K-12 in math, ELA, or SAT prep.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet with a Windows or Mac PC (minimum CPU 6000).
• Commitment of at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability: Minimum 20 hours weekly, ideally between 3-10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends.
• Private and quiet teaching environment.
• Located in the United States or Canada (with certain state restrictions).

Compensation

The base pay is $20 CAD per class with opportunities for regular bonuses.
