About the Role
Join Cosmo 1:1, the premier online learning platform connecting K-12 students in the US, Canada, and across Asia with top university tutors for personalized lessons in Math, ELA, and SAT prep. As an Online Tutor, you will create a welcoming and fun learning environment for 1-on-1 sessions and help students grow academically.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction using Cosmo provided learning plans.
- Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
- Prepare lesson materials appropriate for the student's age and ability.
- Submit class feedback after each session.
- Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
- Attend all scheduled classes punctually in a professional setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- At least 3 years of experience teaching K-12 in Math, ELA, or SAT prep.
- Teaching license preferred but not required.
- Fast and reliable internet connection and a compatible PC.
- Commitment for a minimum of 6 months with at least 20 hours weekly.
- Availability between 6-9 AM EST (morning slot) or select alternative times.
- Access to a private and quiet location.
- Must reside in the United States or Canada (exclusions apply for certain states).
