Data Analyst

Overview

The Data Analyst at Corvinus University of Budapest is responsible for coordinating and supporting institutional data collection and analysis. This role ensures data accuracy, reliability, and consistency across various institutional reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support collection of student, faculty, and research data.
• Clean, transform, aggregate, and validate data for accuracy.
• Maintain institutional datasets, definitions, and documentation for strategic reporting.
• Apply and maintain reporting frequencies and data cut-off points.
• Conduct data analyses to support strategy, accreditation, and benchmarking.
• Ensure version control, traceability, and reproducibility of analyses.
• Handle ad hoc analysis requests as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Working proficiency in English.
• Strong command of Excel for data preparation and reporting.
• Experience with SQL and/or Python for data analysis.
• Good coordination skills and ability to work across units.
• Familiarity with higher education information systems (e.g. Neptun) is an advantage.
