This presents a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative and growing healthcare company.
About Cortica

- Implement positive behavior strategies as developed and continuously analyzed in collaboration with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Apply strategies with children, including antecedent and consequence (reinforcement) techniques, based on individualized treatment plans and strategies devised with their BCBA.
- Work in various designated settings, such as the home, community, school, or clinic, providing direct behavior-analytic care to children and their families as outlined in the child's assessment and treatment plan.
- Fulfill all documentation requirements accurately, including systematic data collection of strategies and goals, and complete session notes promptly during each session.
- This role requires physical activity including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
- Ideally, a bachelor's degree (not strictly required) in a human service or a related field. Candidates with relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree, and students currently enrolled in undergraduate studies are also welcome to apply.
- Availability to work some days, late afternoons, and evenings.
- A valid California Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in using software and systems, including electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Residency within a 17-mile radius of Irvine, CA.
