Job Description

Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth as a Junior IT Professional

Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm. It is an exciting time to join our growing Technology team. We’re opening a broad Expression of Interest for junior IT professionals who are excited to learn, grow, and make a real impact across a variety of teams. These are full‑time casual contract opportunities based in our Melbourne and Sydney offices and are ideal for recent graduates, early‑career technologists, career changers, and returners to the workforce.

About the Opportunities

We support a wide range of internal and client‑facing technology functions, and we are welcome interest across a range of areas including service desk and end‑user support, audio‑visual operations, technology procurement, IT governance and compliance support, data and process analysis, and junior systems and cloud engineering. If you have a passion for solving problems, a customer‑first mindset, and the drive to build your technical skills, we’d love to hear from you—even if your experience doesn’t tick every box.

What You'll Do

In these roles, you’ll help keep our people connected and productive, contribute to the stability and security of our platforms, and support continuous improvement in how we deliver technology. Day to day, you may troubleshoot and resolve user issues, help run AV for meetings and events, support purchasing and vendor administration, assist with policy and controls execution, analyze data and processes to find opportunities for efficiency, or help build and maintain systems and cloud services under the guidance of senior engineers. You’ll work closely with supportive teammates, follow established practices and documentation, and become familiar with modern tooling and ways of working.

Who We're Looking For

We’re interested in motivated, collaborative people who communicate clearly, stay curious, and take ownership. You may have a degree or certificate in IT, computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field—or you may have built your skills through vocational training, bootcamps, self‑study, or hands‑on experience. Familiarity with any of the following will be helpful, but not required: Windows and macOS support, ticketing systems and ITIL concepts, conferencing and AV platforms, procurement workflows and vendor tools, governance frameworks and documentation, Excel/Sheets and basic analytics, scripting basics, networking fundamentals, and exposure to systems or cloud platforms. If you bring the right attitude and willingness to learn, we will support your development.

If you are interested in gaining exposure to diverse technologies and teams, build practical experience in a professional environment, and learn from colleagues who are invested in your growth we encourage you to apply!
