About the role

About the Role

Corpay is seeking a skilled KYC Compliance Analyst to join our Corpay Cross-Border business line in Madrid. You will report to the KYC Compliance Manager and collaborate closely with the Sales team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for new client onboarding, and periodic/trigger event reviews of existing clients.
  • Perform due diligence, including obtaining corporate records and verifying information through public sources and third-party vendors.
  • Verify KYC documentation and conduct risk assessments.
  • Identify high-risk relationships and conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk industries, PEPs, or sanctions.
  • Evaluate negative media screenings and assess associated risks.
  • Participate in project work to enhance internal processes, guidance, and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance/KYC.
  • Clear understanding of AML/CTF regulations, requirements, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise across departments.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives and global teams.
  • Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, interpret alerts, and assess risk scores.
  • Knowledge of high-risk industries, red flags, typologies, and EDD is an asset.
  • Strong writing, research, and investigation skills; ability to document information clearly and comprehensively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Spanish language proficiency required. Italian and German are a plus.
