Cornerbridge Talent Partners is partnering with a late-stage venture-backed B2B SaaS company
We’re hiring a Sr. AI Software Engineer to design and ship production-grade AI systems powering next-generation customer-facing product experiences. This role reports to senior engineering leadership and owns applied AI architecture, model evaluation strategy, and end-to-end delivery of production AI capabilities.
About the Company
Our client builds software used by product and technology teams to understand digital workflows, improve user engagement, and support better customer outcomes. The company is expanding its investment in AI-native capabilities across intelligent workflows, applied LLM infrastructure, and customer-facing automation.
What You’ll Do
- Design and ship LLM-powered systems, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and orchestration frameworks
- Own AI systems from prototype through production, including deployment, observability, latency optimization, and reliability
- Define evaluation frameworks to measure model quality, reduce hallucinations, and improve system performance over time
- Make architectural decisions across prompting, retrieval strategies, model selection, and fine-tuning where appropriate
- Contribute across backend and frontend systems to deliver complete AI-powered product experiences
- Partner closely with product and design to shape technical feasibility and product direction
What You Bring
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on work building AI or LLM-powered systems
- Strong experience with retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, and agent orchestration patterns
- Deep system design judgment across scalability, reliability, and production tradeoffs
- Experience evaluating model performance and implementing safeguards for real-world usage
- Solid full-stack engineering fundamentals across modern backend and frontend environments
- Ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly across engineering and product stakeholders
Bonus Experience
- Experience fine-tuning foundation models
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom orchestration frameworks
- Exposure to AI safety, guardrails, and responsible deployment practices
- Background in SaaS, analytics, or customer-facing data platforms
Who This Is For
- Builders who want to define new systems rather than maintain existing ones
- Engineers with strong product instincts who care about what should be built, not just how
- Hands-on technical operators comfortable moving between architecture, experimentation, and production delivery
- Candidates energized by high-autonomy environments with strong in-office collaboration
