Cornelis Networks is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to join our growing team. This role is crucial for driving sales and providing technical expertise in HPC and AI datacenter networking solutions. You will be a key technical advisor, fostering relationships and generating revenue.

Position Overview
As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical resource and advisor. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities, developing new business, and opening new markets. You will gather customer and partner requirements, influence them to align with our solutions, and design, validate, and document comprehensive solutions. Additionally, you will deliver technical presentations, author technical materials, and represent the company at conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to identify, qualify, manage, and close sales opportunities.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand into new markets.
- Gather and analyze customer and partner requirements, influencing alignment with company solutions.
- Design, validate, and document technical solutions for customers and partners.
- Deliver impactful technical presentations to diverse audiences.
- Author technical materials and publications for sales and marketing.
- Travel to conferences, customers, and partners for presentations and strategic positioning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline, plus 8 years of additional advanced schooling or deep experience in networking solutions.
- 7+ years of experience architecting networking solutions for significant HPC and AI deployments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of networking and associated requirements for HPC, AI, or HPDA.
- 8+ years working with data center infrastructure and Linux cluster technologies.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience directly engaging and supporting customers and business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience deploying and operating in HPC and AI computing environments.
- Hands-on experience with high-performance interconnects (e.g., Omni-Path, InfiniBand, 100G+ Ethernet).
- Deep knowledge of network architecture and optimization techniques.
- Experience with parallel filesystems and parallel storage systems.
- Ability to benchmark, profile, and optimize application workloads for AI, HPC, or HPDA systems.
- Strong understanding of system and network security principles in distributed, high-performance environments.
Location
This is a remote position within the United States, requiring up to 50% travel. Brief periods of travel up to 75% may be required for in-person conferences and meetings.
