Job Summary

The Nutrition Services Lead at Corewell Health is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned work unit. This role includes hands on leadership, training, and responsibility for employees while overseeing food production, recipe development, and quality control. The role ensures compliance with Beaumont standards in providing excellent patient and family centered care and services.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate shift activities including daily staffing and assignments.
  • Oversee production of high quality food products following standardized recipes.
  • Monitor EPIC tracker for room cleans, equipment requests and patient transports.
  • Train, orient, and coach staff, and mediate disputes with management support.
  • Maintain safety, sanitation standards and ensure survey/inspection readiness.

Qualifications

Required: High school graduate or equivalent, effective communication in English, and 3 years of relevant experience as a Nutrition Services Leader in culinary/food production areas.

Preferred: Associate’s Degree in a food service related area, experience in food service outside culinary production, management experience, and familiarity with therapeutic diets.

Work Conditions & Benefits
