About the Software Engineer Role

As a Software Engineer at Copyright Clearance Center, you will join a successful global organization known for delivering high-quality software solutions to the publishing sector. You will work with the Java Development team to create and maintain both UI and backend code, ensuring robust production processes and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Java technical resource for development teams.
  • Create and maintain functional UI and backend code.
  • Participate in analysis, development, implementation, testing, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely design and code reviews along with system documentation.
  • Follow production processes including source code and environment management.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with Java and Spring in modern web applications.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services like EC2, RDS, SQS, SNS, and S3.
  • Understanding of databases including PostgreSQL and Liquibase.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes; SAFe is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
