About the Role: Sr. Adjuster Commercial P&C Claims
CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking an experienced Sr. Adjuster Commercial P&C Claims to manage complex, high-exposure casualty claims. You will handle mid-to-high-severity commercial automobile, general liability, and products liability claims, using technical expertise and sound judgment.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial claims.
- Evaluate coverage, investigate liability, determine case value, and set reserves.
- Handle claims using Guidewire Claims Center and Microsoft 365.
- Negotiate settlements and represent CopperPoint at mediations.
- Mentor less-experienced adjusters and support team training sessions.
- Communicate risks and trends to internal business units.
- Direct and manage outside counsel, experts, and vendors.
Qualifications/Competencies
High school diploma required; college degree and/or insurance designations are preferred. Minimum 7+ years of auto and general liability claims experience is ideal. Experience with litigated claims, commercial casualty, construction, and trucking claims are beneficial. Guidewire and Microsoft 365 proficiency is desired.
Benefits & Compensation
The role offers a base salary range of $68,000 to $104,000 annually with an annual discretionary bonus. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401k plan. Additional offerings include paid time off, holidays, volunteer time, and more.
