Department / Team Purpose
With market leading products in custody, settlement, liquidity access, and as a leading infrastructure provider, Copper is set to become a cornerstone in the future of digital and tokenized assets. The Business Analyst plays a central role in bridging business needs and technology solutions.
Role Purpose
In the role of Business Analyst, you will connect regulatory, operational, and strategic needs with technology solutions within financial services. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring solutions meet industry regulations and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between regulatory and IT teams.
- Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements (e.g., PRA, FCA, MAS, HKMA, ASIC).
- Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments.
- Gather and document business and functional requirements including BRDs and FRDs.
- Develop traceability matrices and process flows.
- Support system testing and coordinate UAT with business users.
- Collaborate globally to deliver jurisdiction specific regulatory solutions.
- Manage project documentation and provide regular stakeholder updates.
- Ensure adherence to project lifecycle and governance standards.
- Escalate risks and issues as needed.
Skills & Experience
Essential: 10+ years in business analysis, strong financial services background, familiarity with crypto assets, proficient with MS Office and Atlassian tools, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
Desirable: Knowledge of regulations such as MiCA, DORA, VARA, and experience with regulatory reporting frameworks.
