Landscape Labourer - Copetown Woods Golf Club
Copetown Woods Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team. This is an on-site position requiring physical stamina and a strong work ethic. If you enjoy working outdoors and maintaining beautiful landscapes, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape constructions.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
- Cut grass and maintain lawn areas.
- Rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other landscaping materials.
- Lay sod or seed for new or existing areas.
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees according to plan.
- Apply fertilizers and other treatments to plants and lawns.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Tasks are often repetitive and physically demanding, involving handling heavy loads.
- Requires manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
- Involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with significant bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Qualifications
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required; training will be provided.
- Experience is a plus, but not mandatory as training is available.
