About the role
Digital PMO Manager
Copenhagen Airports A/S is seeking a Digital PMO Manager to play a central role in driving and coordinating CPH’s digital transformation. This role ensures alignment between business strategy, initiative prioritization, and execution across the IT portfolio. The Digital PMO supports CPH Digital's project and initiative portfolio through capacity and resource management, portfolio oversight, prioritization, governance, and monitoring, ensuring resources and investments are allocated where they create the most value. The Digital PMO also acts as a liaison between business, management, and delivery organizations to ensure initiatives are completed efficiently and in accordance with governance. We own the ongoing development, maintenance, and maturation of CPH Digital's portfolio management model to serve our internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the management and coordination of the digital project and initiative portfolio in collaboration with experienced PMO colleagues.
- Ensure cohesion, transparency, and consistency across initiatives, and support the preparation of decision-making material for management regarding prioritization, investments, and resource allocation.
- Define, maintain, and communicate portfolio principles, governance structures, and management standards that support effective execution and achievement of strategic goals.
- Work closely with the business, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the digital project and initiative pipeline is of sufficient quality.
- Participate in portfolio reviews, prioritization forums, and decision-making processes, and contribute to the ongoing development of project and portfolio management.
- Drive maturity in project and portfolio management, including capacity management, resource allocation, and monitoring.
- Act as a partner to management and project managers with a focus on portfolio progress and overview.
Team Focus Areas:
- Strategic Prioritization: Ensure the Digital IT project portfolio and initiatives align with the overall Digital strategy. Support management in prioritizing and monitoring the IT project portfolio, and deselecting projects/tasks that do not create sufficient value or exceed resource capacity.
- Resource Optimization: Based on capacity assessment and the prioritized project portfolio, coordinate and allocate resources across projects.
- Oversight and Transparency: Create and maintain a comprehensive overview of ongoing and planned IT projects.
- Cost and Consumption Tracking: In collaboration with Finance, monitor project consumption and advise project management on realistic resource estimations against deliverables.
Additional tasks include overseeing and maintaining all roles and resources within Digital, capacity assessments, allocation oversight, and secretarial support to Digital management in prioritizing the IT portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in or around project and initiative portfolios (e.g., PMO, project coordination, analysis, or controlling in a digital environment).
- Knowledge of portfolio management principles and a desire to work with capacity and resource management.
- Good understanding of both business and project processes.
- Experience in developing and defining portfolio management principles and frameworks, including capacity & resource management.
