Short Description

The Registered Nurse at Voorhees Surgery Center is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary team, is responsible for a designated group of patients using the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Overview

Cooper Voorhees Surgery Center is a hospital-run outpatient surgical center that mirrors the clinical standards of Cooper’s main surgical facilities. Patients return home after same-day procedures with any complications routed to Cooper in Camden or the nearest facility. The center manages pre-admission screening, registration, pre-op preparation, anesthesia and surgical care, and recovery in PACU before discharge.

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year OR Circulating and Scrub experience.
• Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
• Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
• Works four 10-hour shifts per week.
