Supervisor - Compliance Operations

The Global Sanctions and Interdictions Screening team at Convera is seeking a leader to manage daily team operations. This role focuses on ensuring the screening process adheres to all requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, while acting as a key point of contact for escalated inquiries and internal/external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily workflows and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Align team goals with company objectives and monitor performance.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance standards.
  • Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Update internal documentation in line with procedural changes.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on escalations and time sensitive requests.
  • Resolve employee issues and disputes, promoting team development.
  • Report regularly to senior management and participate in process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in financial or shared services industries and team management.
  • Ability to multi-task, work accurately, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in global payment processing and SWIFT network is desirable.
  • Background in process improvement and waste elimination is an asset.
