About The Role: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Conveo is seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a pivotal role in building and scaling our pipeline generation efforts. This is a primarily outbound-focused position responsible for identifying target accounts and key stakeholders, developing targeted prospect lists, crafting effective outbound campaigns and messaging, and converting market interest into qualified meetings.

You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to ensure our outbound strategy is relevant, timely, and commercially effective across various channels, including cold outreach, event follow-up, webinar campaigns, re-engagement sequences, and trigger-based prospecting. As a brand ambassador for Conveo, you will also represent us at international events to identify and nurture new lead opportunities.

While some inbound qualification may be required, the primary focus of this role is proactive outbounding and campaign execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Outbound Prospecting and Campaign Execution: Develop and manage outbound campaigns targeting specific accounts, verticals, and buyer personas. Research companies and identify key stakeholders for engagement. Craft high-quality, concise, and commercially relevant outreach copy tailored to roles, industries, and use cases. Execute outreach via email, LinkedIn, sequencing tools, and other channels. Represent Conveo at global events to identify and cultivate new leads.
  • Build Targeted Lists and Prospecting Motions: Create and maintain high-quality account and contact lists aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Segment prospects by role, function, industry, geography, and priority use case. Support account prioritization and stakeholder mapping for strategic opportunities. Launch targeted campaigns around new product launches, content, case studies, funding events, and market shifts.
  • Own Follow-Up from Events and Demand Generation: Attend relevant events, conferences, and webinars. Manage structured follow-up for leads generated through events, field marketing, and content initiatives. Ensure prompt and effective engagement with warm prospects post-event or campaign. Convert interest and awareness into qualified meetings and facilitate the next steps for the sales team.
  • Support Pipeline Creation and Reactivation: Re-engage dormant leads and previously active opportunities. Systematically work through stale pipeline to uncover new demand. Identify prospects who have gone cold and develop smart follow-up campaigns to re-initiate conversations. Ensure all high-potential accounts receive attention.
  • Maintain Strong Process and Commercial Discipline: Ensure CRM data is clean, accurate, and up-to-date. Track campaign performance, including reply rates, meeting conversion, and funnel progression. Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams to enhance targeting, messaging, and channel effectiveness. Continuously refine campaigns based on performance data.

  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Outreach, Heyreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar.
  • Experience building outbound sequences and multi-touch campaigns.
  • Exposure to event-based prospecting and post-event follow-up.
  • Comfortable working across both strategic accounts and broader outbound campaigns.
