Role Impact
As a Bilingual Technical Product Specialist - Truck Tire, you will play an active role in the Canadian market by providing technical support, addressing product complaints, and assisting the sales team with warranty and field support activities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to technical issues and support market acceptance of new production tires.
- Train internal and external teams on warranty complaints and technical processes.
- Monitor and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and controls.
- Provide technical product service including consultations and training for field sales teams.
- Adjudicate warranty tasks and offer competent feedback on tire performance.
- Support product performance monitoring and provide technical data for the Corporate Early Warning System.
- Offer technical field support for retread and digital solutions.
- Travel extensively with Territory and Key Account Managers to deliver technical presentations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a relevant bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 2+ years experience in tire/vehicle technology (or 4+ years if no degree), be fluent in English and French, and be prepared for frequent travel (50%+). A valid driver’s license, passport, and legal authorization to work in Canada are required. The candidate must also be able to safely handle and maneuver commercial vehicle tires and equipment.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated starting salary range is $76,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and location. Benefits include competitive wages, bonus, comprehensive benefit package for self and family, RSP contributions, and a flexible work environment.
