Role Overview: Territory Sales Manager
The Territory Sales Manager will identify and cultivate new business partnerships and promote engineered products, programs, and services to distributors and end-users in the industrial sector. This role requires travel, technical knowledge in inspecting equipment, and proficiency in business technology tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business partnerships with distributors and end-users.
- Promote and sell engineering products through Continental’s Authorized Distributor Network.
- Train partners on product applications and new technologies.
- Manage territory activities using Salesforce.com and associated data tools.
- Attend industry trade shows to showcase Continental offerings.
- Conduct equipment inspections in manufacturing environments.
- Travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration with 2 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 4 years sales experience if no degree. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and an ability to use CRM systems is required. Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. are mandatory. Applicants must live in or near Syracuse or Buffalo, New York and/or Northern Pennsylvania.
Salary & Benefits
Salary ranges from $60,480 to $67,200 for 0-2 years of experience and $69,450 to $81,700 for 3+ years of experience, plus eligibility for a variable incentive program.
