Role Overview
The Bilingual Technical Product Specialist supports the Canadian market by resolving product complaints, handling warranty issues, and providing technical support to sales. The role involves training teams on warranty processes, quality assurance monitoring, and technical field support.
Main Responsibilities
- Resolve technical issues and monitor warranty complaints.
- Provide technical training and presentations to sales teams.
- Support quality assurance processes and performance monitoring.
- Represent Continental on technical matters at customer locations.
- Travel frequently (50+%) and offer bilingual (English & French) support.
Additional Duties
- Consult local sales and marketing organizations on technical queries.
- Adjudicate warranty tires and provide feedback on failure modes.
- Support field activities related to retread and digital tire solutions.
- Report findings into the Global Warranty system in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (2+ years in tire/vehicle technology; 4+ years without degree).
- Fluent in English and French.
- Ability to handle commercial vehicle tires and related equipment.
- Valid driver's license, passport, and legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Home office located near an airport.
