Your Mission as a Data Security Expert
Are you passionate about cybersecurity, cryptography and data protection? Then this position is for you. As a Data Security Expert, you will contribute to Enterprise Security activities within a major international financial environment. You will help define, strengthen and harmonize data security and cryptography practices across a large international ecosystem.
Build Side Responsibilities
- Define security requirements and strategy for Data Security and Cryptography at Group level
- Design guidelines and frameworks for data protection (data at rest, in transit, masking, anonymization, encryption)
- Contribute to the definition of cryptographic asset inventory and crypto-agility approaches
- Participate in technical POCs on data security and cryptography solutions, including emerging technologies
- Define security requirements for cloud environments (private, public and hybrid – O365, Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud)
- Provide guidance on blockchain usage and privacy-enhancing technologies (homomorphic encryption, ABE, SSE, etc.)
- Contribute to post-quantum cryptography readiness and quantum risk assessment
Run Side Responsibilities
- Assess the robustness of security designs and data protection mechanisms (including key management systems and HSMs)
- Perform security risk analysis and propose appropriate countermeasures
- Support subsidiaries and entities in implementing data security and cryptographic measures
- Monitor technological evolution and conduct continuous cybersecurity watch
- Contribute to the cybersecurity expert community and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Ensure alignment with security control frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
Your Background
You have at least 5 years of experience in demanding IT and cybersecurity environments, ideally within large or international organizations. You enjoy working on complex security topics such as cryptography, data protection and resilience. You are constantly innovating and keeping up with emerging threats and technologies. You are looking for an environment where your ideas matter and where technology goes hand in hand with collaboration.
Your Expertise
- Strong knowledge of IT Risk Management and Cybersecurity principles
- Solid understanding of cryptographic concepts and algorithms in enterprise environments
- Experience with data protection techniques: encryption, masking, anonymization
- Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, O365, IBM Cloud)
- Familiarity with Key Management Systems (CKMS), HSM and secret management solutions
- Understanding of Blockchain security principles
- Awareness of Quantum Computing fundamentals and its impact on cryptography
- Familiarity with security control frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS
- Experience in Agile / DevOps / Cloud-oriented environments
