About the Role
Consilio LLC is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define, execute, and launch product roadmaps for their proprietary software applications. This role is crucial in bridging business needs with product capabilities, requiring a blend of client/stakeholder understanding and technical product knowledge. It's a highly technical position that involves both strategic thinking and tactical execution within a US-based, remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate strategy discussions and manage the product roadmap for assigned software products.
- Gather and synthesize client and stakeholder input into prioritized epic-level requirements.
- Act as the voice of the customer, translating inputs into product requirements and positioning strategies.
- Manage the prioritized backlog, creating articulated tickets for Engineering and QA.
- Define business cases, scope, market requirements, and success metrics for releases.
- Serve as the Product Lead in agile software development processes, partnering with cross-functional teams (Technical Product Owner, UX, development, data operations, architecture, QA, IT Project Management).
- Create rapid prototype apps with AI to demonstrate front-end design and user workflows.
- Support cross-functional operations team readiness for new products and releases.
- Become a company expert on external buyers and user personas, understanding their buying criteria and market forces.
- Drive strategic product conversations, gather inputs, and own the product lifecycle from ideation to execution.
- Evaluate 3rd party software providers' technology and product messaging.
- Conduct competitive analysis and communicate learnings.
- Generate featured articles, selling, and training content.
- Understand core usage and business metrics (revenue, margins, etc.).
- Support RFP/RFI responses.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in product management.
- Strong technical background with understanding of data structures, predictive analytics, enterprise web software, and database applications.
- Experience in an agile software development environment as a Product Owner, with working knowledge of agile processes (Scrum preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability in software development lifecycle and writing business requirements.
- Outstanding references.
- Preference for experience with SaaS, AI/Machine Learning, big data, information governance, or eDiscovery.
- Preference for experience as a full stack software developer for enterprise software.
- Preference for working in global operations and selling organizations.
