About The Role
As a Backend Engineer - MetaMask, you will work with our API Platform team to build backend APIs for various MetaMask services such as the Price API, Token API, Account API, NFT API and more. You will engage in building production applications and participate in CI/CD and agile setups within a distributed, remote team environment.
Required Skills
- 3+ years as a Backend Software Engineer with production experience
- Proficiency in Node.js back-end development (preferably Typescript)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Agile project experience
- CI/CD setup experience
- Excellent communication skills with strong technical documentation ability
Bonus Points
- Experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead
- Experience with third party vendors in financial institutions or web3 companies
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
- Smart contract development and DevOps / cloud infrastructure experience
Other Skills
Excellent verbal and written English, teamwork, flexibility, and a willingness to constantly learn and improve.
