Position Overview: Paralegal - Family Law
We are seeking a Part-Time Legal Assistant to support a modern law firm focused on estate planning and family law. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of legal and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The Paralegal - Family Law will help manage case progress, draft legal documents, prepare filings, communicate with clients, and maintain organized case files. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and able to work independently while supporting the attorney and ensuring cases move forward efficiently.

- Track deadlines and ensure cases progress according to schedule.

- Assist with client intake, document collection, and case summaries.
- Support improvements to internal systems and workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive legal information.
What will you do?
Proven experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal support role is preferred. Strong legal writing and document drafting skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities. Tech-savvy and comfortable learning legal case management systems (e.g., MyCase, Clio, or similar). Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, consistent, and able to take ownership of responsibilities. Law students, recent graduates, or candidates with prior legal experience are highly preferred.
