Overview
Connectis is seeking an experienced Linux Administrator for its global financial organization. The role includes managing physical infrastructure and virtual environments (VM) while ensuring security and stability of Linux systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement best practices for Linux security and stability.
- Perform regular updates of operating systems and software.
- Administer and maintain physical servers and virtual machines.
- Troubleshoot incidents and respond to system failures.
- Monitor system availability and performance.
Requirements
- At least 4-5 years of Linux system administration experience.
- Strong skills in managing physical servers and virtual machines.
- Experience in updating and maintaining Linux environments.
- Fluent English (minimum C1 level) for daily work.
- Knowledge of virtualization solutions (e.g. VMWare) and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Experience in automating administrative tasks (e.g. Ansible, Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, Prometheus).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow).
- Background in corporate environments and relevant Linux certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC).
