Your Role as a Payroll Associate

In the role of Payroll Associate, you will be our payroll rockstar! You must be PCP certified. You will manage multiple client payrolls using online software and collaborate with clients and bookkeeping teams to ensure seamless payroll processing. Your responsibilities include:

  • Running payroll on time and processing end-to-end payroll for multiple clients.
  • Managing changes such as employee updates and deduction adjustments.
  • Handling T4 process, ROE forms, EHT, WCB filings, and CRA account reviews.
  • Answering client inquiries, providing recommendations and solving payroll issues.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • PCP certified or currently pursuing certification.
  • At least three years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Canadian payroll process including taxes and deductions.
  • Experience with payroll software such as Wagepoint, Payworks, Humi, and Gusto is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
