General Description

The Financial Analyst will conduct analysis and assist with all phases of real estate transactions including refinancing, underwriting, acquisitions, and dispositions. Responsibilities include placement and closing of debt and equity, as well as analysis of property, portfolio, and partnership interests. This role requires curiosity, critical thinking, and a desire for continuous learning in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze affordable housing properties, portfolios, and partnership interests.
• Interpret complex legal and financial documents.
• Communicate and follow up with buyers, sellers, lenders, and investors.
• Resolve agency, investor, and lender-related issues.
• Track deal progress and push deals along.
• Perform analysis for tax credit syndication and mortgage placement.
• Coordinate across departments to gather information and resolve issues.
• Handle other portfolio management duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant real estate financial modeling/underwriting experience, with a graduate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Law, Finance, or Accounting. Affordable Housing experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation package including a salary range of $64,000 to $67,000, 13 holidays, 15 days paid time off, 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, company-paid life and disability insurances, wellness program, and more.
