About the Role

The Web Developer at Confidential is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing web applications to deliver exceptional user experiences. This full-time remote role in the EMEA region involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and back-end developers to create seamless and visually appealing digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform design concepts into functional interfaces.
  • Integrate front-end and back-end components ensuring performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance functionality.
  • Write clean, well-documented code in line with industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.
  • Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and team stand-ups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in web development or similar roles.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and a modern framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Git version control, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, Python, or PHP for back-end integration is a plus.
  • Understanding of SEO practices, accessibility, and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
