About the Senior Software Engineer Role at Confidential
As a Senior Software Engineer at Confidential, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions. This is a full-time, fully remote position open to skilled professionals across the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable software applications.
- Contribute significantly to system architecture, technical design, and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with product and business teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering strictly to established best practices.
- Optimize application performance, enhance reliability, and ensure scalability across systems.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and supporting comprehensive team knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and crucial technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and efficiently resolve complex technical issues encountered within the software.
- Ensure the highest software quality through rigorous testing, comprehensive documentation, and diligent version control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in one or more leading programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with modern frameworks, API development, and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of various cloud platforms, database technologies, and system integration principles.
- Proven experience working effectively within Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle intricate challenges.
