About the Role
The Senior Scrum Master role is central to the Agile transformation of a fast-growing software company. In this fully remote position open to candidates in the EMEA region, you will lead multiple teams to deliver high-quality software solutions by guiding them through Agile methodologies, removing roadblocks, and fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor Agile teams to fully embrace Scrum principles.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Partner with product owners, engineering leads, QA, and stakeholders to manage backlogs.
- Identify and remove obstacles to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor Agile metrics and implement process improvements.
- Foster a culture of accountability and open communication.
- Coach stakeholders and leadership on Agile best practices.
- Oversee multiple Scrum teams to maintain consistent delivery standards.
Who You Are
You are an experienced Senior Scrum Master with a background in software development or SaaS environments. You have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent facilitation skills, and are proficient in Agile tools such as Jira or Confluence. Certified as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) with experience in handling distributed teams across multiple time zones, you communicate effectively in English and understand the software development lifecycle.
