About the Role
The Scrum Master is responsible for driving agile practices, ensuring product development teams deliver high-quality products efficiently and collaboratively. The role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing roadblocks, and promoting continuous improvement and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and practices.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize backlog.
- Identify and remove impediments hindering team progress.
- Promote continuous improvement through feedback and performance tracking.
- Monitor team metrics to support data-driven decisions.
- Foster effective communication among development, product, and business teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development.
- Strong grasp on Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Tools (Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience working with remote/distributed teams.
- Relevant certifications (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
