Risk Manager

About the Role

We are a trusted recruitment partner working with reputable organizations across regulated and non-regulated sectors. On behalf of a confidential client, we are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead and strengthen the organization’s risk management framework.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks. This role requires strong analytical skills, regulatory awareness, and close collaboration with senior leadership to ensure effective risk governance and decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in enterprise risk management and is comfortable working in a structured, on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s risk management framework and policies
• Identify, assess, and monitor enterprise, operational, financial, and compliance risks
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain risk registers across business functions
• Design and monitor risk mitigation plans and internal controls
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with compliance, audit, finance, and operational teams
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
• Support business continuity planning and crisis management initiatives
• Participate in internal audits and regulatory reviews as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in risk management or related roles
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks (ERM, operational risk, compliance risk)
• Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or regulated industries is preferred
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
