Quality Assurance Manager
We are a trusted recruitment partner collaborating with innovative technology companies across the region. On behalf of a growing software company, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and scale their QA function across multiple products.
This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates based in the Middle East.
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the overall QA strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions. You will lead QA teams, implement best practices, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to drive continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, a process-oriented mindset, and experience in modern software development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall QA strategy, processes, and standards
- Lead, mentor, and manage QA engineers (manual & automation)
- Design and oversee test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks
- Ensure product quality across web, mobile, and backend systems
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, test coverage, and release readiness
- Identify risks and proactively drive quality improvements
- Ensure adherence to security, performance, and compliance standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and version control systems
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
