About the Lead Project Manager Role at Confidential

This full-time remote role is specifically for candidates based within the EMEA region and involves leading complex software initiatives to drive successful delivery across distributed teams.
As a Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple software projects. This includes meticulous planning, efficient execution, seamless stakeholder alignment, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will lead and mentor project management teams, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and design functions to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business objectives. This position is ideal for a senior project leader who combines strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and people leadership within a dynamic, remote, and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and oversee project managers to ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Manage multiple software projects across distributed teams and various time zones.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth execution.
- Act as the primary communication point between leadership, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects adhere to Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies based on specific requirements.
- Monitor project performance diligently and conduct regular reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and high-performance across all teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of project management experience, including leadership or senior PM roles within the software industry.
- Proven track record of delivering complex software or digital transformation projects successfully.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Superior communication and presentation abilities.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
- PMP or similar project management certifications are a plus.
