Head of Finance
We are a recruitment partner working with reputable organizations across the region. On behalf of a growing and well-established company, we are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead and oversee the organization’s financial strategy and operations. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates based in the MENA region.
About the Role
The Head of Finance will be responsible for driving financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making at an executive level. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, solid regulatory knowledge, and the ability to translate financial insights into business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with regional tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and financial risk assessment.
- Provide financial insights and performance analysis to executive leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities when required.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, including senior leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance within the MENA region.
- Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial management.
- Experience working in multinational or high-growth environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
