About the Global Logistics Manager Role at Confidential
Confidential, a trusted recruitment partner for international organizations, is seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager. This full-time, remote position focuses on leading and optimizing end-to-end logistics activities across multiple regions within EMEA. The role demands strong leadership, cross-border logistics expertise, and the ability to manage vendors and teams in a distributed environment.
The Global Logistics Manager will manage international logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods, cost optimization, and compliance with global trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with global freight, customs, and multi-country logistics networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee global logistics operations across multiple countries and regions.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business growth and operational goals.
- Manage international transportation (air, sea, road) and freight forwarding activities.
- Oversee customs clearance, import/export compliance, and trade documentation.
- Optimize logistics costs, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and 3PL partners.
- Monitor logistics KPIs, performance metrics, and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, warehouse, and sales teams.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans for cross-border logistics operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with global exposure.
- Proven experience managing international and multi-country logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
- Experience working with logistics systems, ERP, and transportation management tools.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-time-zone environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
