Full Stack Engineer Role at Confidential
We are a trusted recruitment partner supporting high-growth companies across various industries. On behalf of a confidential client, we are seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join a distributed engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable, high-quality web applications.
This is a full-time remote role, open to candidates based across the EMEA region.
About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing end-to-end web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions while adhering to best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
- Support continuous improvement of development processes and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
- Solid experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment
