Job Description
About the Role: Full Stack Engineer
As a Full Stack Engineer at Confidential, you will be a key contributor within a distributed engineering team, focusing on building, maintaining, and optimizing end-to-end web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions while adhering to best engineering practices. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to talented individuals across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Support continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- Solid experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
