We are a trusted recruitment partner collaborating with a well-established holding company operating across multiple sectors in the Middle East. Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial governance, reporting accuracy, and multi-entity consolidation.
About the Role
The Financial Controller will lead financial reporting, compliance, and internal control functions across the group’s portfolio companies. This remote, full-time role requires strong expertise in consolidation, regulatory compliance, and financial strategy within complex corporate structures for candidates based in the Middle East region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee group-level financial reporting and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
- Manage consolidation of financial statements across multiple subsidiaries and business units.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements across operating countries.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes at group level.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity planning, and financial risk management.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Supervise and mentor finance teams across entities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA qualification preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance, including Financial Controller or senior finance leadership roles.
- Experience within a holding company or multi-entity group structure is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and cross-border financial regulations.
- Proven experience in financial consolidation and group reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
