Job Summary
As a DevOps Engineer for a confidential client, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure and efficient CI/CD pipelines. This remote full-time role, open to candidates across the EMEA region, involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure seamless development workflows and high system availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes for various applications.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive measures.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams to support release and deployment activities.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform thorough root cause analysis.
- Apply stringent security best practices throughout the infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or a similar technical role.
- Strong foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux-based systems.
- Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with various monitoring and logging tools to maintain system visibility.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote, distributed team environment.
