About the Cyber Security Specialist Role

This remote, full-time position supports the protection of digital assets, systems, and data across the EMEA region. The Cyber Security Specialist safeguards infrastructure against cyber threats, ensures compliance with security standards, and identifies vulnerabilities in a dynamic remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor systems, networks, and applications for security threats and vulnerabilities
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate remotely with IT, engineering, and product teams
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and mitigation techniques
• Prepare security reports and documentation for stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field and proven experience in a similar role. Technical expertise in network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, and familiarity with security monitoring tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions is required. Certification such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, or Security+ is a plus.
