About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer is a strategic driver at a well-established financial services provider in the Gulf region. This full-time, remote role targets experienced finance leaders across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage core finance functions including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and compliance.
  • Design and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Deliver accurate financial reports, forecasts, and performance insights.
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to influence business decisions and investments.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to drive cost optimization and profitability.
  • Build relationships with auditors, financial institutions, investors, and regulators.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or ACCA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in financial services or fintech.
  • Expertise in financial strategy, reporting, risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of scaling finance functions in fast-paced organizations.
  • Exceptional leadership, business acumen, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing remote teams and working with multicultural stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
