Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer is a strategic, remote, executive role for a well-established financial services provider in the Gulf region. This role involves leading all financial operations, shaping long-term planning, ensuring compliance, and partnering with senior leadership to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage core finance functions including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and compliance.
• Design and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Deliver accurate financial reports, forecasts, and insights for executive decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and risk management frameworks.
• Build robust relationships with auditors, financial institutions, investors, and regulators.
• Mentor and develop a remote finance team in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in financial services or fintech.
• Proven expertise in financial strategy, reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote, multicultural teams.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
