Chief Financial Officer

Drive strategic financial leadership at the heart of a growing financial services company. This full-time, remote opportunity is open to experienced finance leaders across the EMEA region.

About the Role

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be the strategic driver behind the company’s financial health and growth. You will oversee all financial operations, guide long-term planning, ensure compliance, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape the organization’s future.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage core finance functions including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and compliance.
• Design and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Deliver accurate financial reports, forecasts, and insights to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and risk management frameworks.
• Provide strategic recommendations and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with auditors, financial institutions, investors, and regulators.
• Mentor and develop the finance team to build a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or ACCA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in financial services or fintech.
• Proven experience in financial strategy, reporting, risk management, and compliance.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence executive and board levels.
• Experience managing remote teams and working with multicultural stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
