We are a trusted recruitment partner representing a well-established international holding company with diversified investments across multiple sectors in the EMEA region. The group operates through several subsidiaries spanning industrial, commercial, and service-based industries, with a strong focus on sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Consultant to support strategic initiatives and performance optimization across the group’s portfolio companies.
About the Role
The Business Consultant will act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and subsidiary management teams across the EMEA region. This role focuses on business transformation, performance improvement, operational optimization, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with practical execution experience and has worked within consulting firms, large corporations, or diversified holding structures.
This is a full-time remote position open to candidates located within the EMEA region. The role may require periodic travel depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of corporate and subsidiary-level strategies
- Conduct market assessments, feasibility studies, and expansion analyses
- Contribute to annual business planning cycles and long-term strategic roadmaps
- Provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making
- Analyze operational workflows, cost structures, and performance metrics
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process optimization initiatives
- Lead performance improvement projects across different business units
- Implement KPI frameworks and reporting dashboards to monitor business health
- Review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to assess performance gaps
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic options
- Support cost reduction initiatives and margin improvement strategies
- Assess commercial models, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization opportunities
- Support restructuring initiatives and organizational design improvements
- Drive cross-functional transformation projects across multiple geographies
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure smooth implementation of change initiatives
- Monitor post-implementation results and ensure measurable impact
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and board materials
- Facilitate workshops and strategy sessions with senior management
- Coordinate between subsidiaries and corporate leadership
- Ensure alignment between group-level strategy and operational execution
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred
- 7–12 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, or similar roles
- Prior exposure to holding companies, multi-entity groups, or regional operations across EMEA is highly preferred
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Proven experience leading cross-functional and cross-border projects
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
